Koho Shoda (1871-1946) was part of the shin hanga movement ('new prints'), but not much is known about him. Koho worked with Nishinomiya Yosaku, a Tokyo publisher. The artist came into the focus when the collection of the famous art dealer and art collector Robert O. Muller came into the awareness of a larger public after his death in 2003.
